Knitting Club
Knitting meet-up & workshop
There is something special about the repetitive movements involved in knitting. It invites you into a space, where you can be present and do something together, without the pressure of conversation being the sole focus.
As knitting is an activity rooted in community, we are opening the event to both experienced knitters and those just taking their first steps. A supporting and ‘hyggeligt’ space where we connect and knit together.
For our beginners: Domi and Rebekka will help you take your first steps in knitting – by teaching you how to knit a “Sophie-Scarf’. You will get hands on learning support, all the materials, recipes and a how-to-knit-pamphlet that you can take home and practice with! Six beginner spots are available. Entry 20€.
For already-knitters: Looking for a cosy afternoon and getting to know other knitters in your kiez? Bring in your needles and knit with us! We’d love to see what you’re knitting at the mo and can exchange some tips and tricks; or just enjoy eachother’s company while doing the strick. Entry is donation based and we have 12 spots available. You can choose and contribute what feels right and manageable for you. We want to keep our event as accessible to everyone as possible, while still supporting the people behind making it possible. Entry 10€
